Services - Hotline
Our 24/7 hotline plays a central part in our efforts to keep survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as their loved ones, safe.
If you are a victim of domestic violence and/or sexual assault, please call our office at 330-263-1020 or toll free at 800-686-1122. TDDY available.
IF THIS IS AN EMERGENCY PLEASE CALL 911 FOR EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE
Individuals who are in danger and have nowhere else to go may call our 24-hour hotline and request emergency shelter. If shelter is appropriate, a staff member of EWH will meet the individual or family at the Justice Center, area hospital or police station, if needed.
When individuals and/or families arrive at the shelter, their immediate needs are met. They are shown the facility and are oriented to their new environment. Within 24 hours, residents and their children begin working with a staff counselor and participation in counseling and support groups begin. Residents are encouraged to work, go to school, and seek safe permanent housing and to start on the part toward self-sufficiency.
Call us anytime! Our caring and dedicated staff and volunteers will be happy to assist you.
