Every Woman's House provides individual and group counseling services and crisis intervention assistance to adults and children who are experiencing difficulty due to domestic violence and/or sexual assault.
Counseling services are provided for both shelter residents as well as members of the community.
Counseling services provided include:
- assessments
- individual counseling
- specialized group therapy
- community support group for women
Other services include:
- referrals for psychiatric assessments
- case management services
These services are administered by a qualified and caring staff. The staff consists of a team of professionals with specialized training in a variety of treatment modalities for working with:
- survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault
- children who have experienced violence in their homes
- perpetrators of domestic violence
- at-risk adolescents
Every Woman's House has a sliding fee scale available for costs exceeding individual ability to pay. Some services are free.
